
Collaboration between education, government, and global institutions took center stage on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Cloud Lounge, Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center. The discussion agenda brought together key representatives from Tsinghua Southeast Asia (Tsinghua SEA), Zhili College, the Center for Global Competence Development (CGCD), and the Bali Provincial Government, focusing on education, youth, the environment, and global competence.

The program began with participant arrivals at 08.30, followed by opening remarks from the MC and a welcome speech by Michael Tuori, Academic Director of TSEA. Introductions from Zhili College and CGCD set the tone for the event, underlining the importance of international cooperation and local engagement in shaping the future of education and sustainable development.

Two keynote presentations formed the heart of the agenda. Dr. KN Boy Jayawibawa from the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports of Bali Province shared regional strategies for education and youth development, followed by a discussion and Q&A session. Later, Dr. Drs. I Made Rentin, AP., M.Si from the Department of Forestry and Environment of Bali Province addressed current challenges and initiatives in environmental and forestry management, which also sparked an engaging dialogue with participants.
The event concluded with closing remarks and a group photo at 11.20, followed by a visit to Dyatmika School and a presentation by Zhili College students. By combining formal dialogue with direct engagement in educational practice, the program showcased Bali’s role as both a hub for global collaboration and a living example of how education, sustainability, and cultural exchange can intersect to inspire meaningful cooperation.
